Pencil, pen & ink, colored in Photoshop (2008 - 2009)

When I walked by my computer a few days ago and noticed that the Wacom tablet that my boyfriend gave me last Christmas was sitting there collecting dust, I became immensely sad. I had tried drawing with the tablet before, and when the drawings on the screen weren't turning out the way I wanted, I put the thing aside.

Then, yesterday, I found an old doodle that I did during some downtime at work about a year ago. I figured that it would be good practice to scan the sketch into my computer and then use to the tablet to color it in in Photoshop and do all kinds of other neat things with it.

Now, don't judge to harshly, as this is my first go at coloring a drawing digitally, but I must admit that I'm really happy with how it turned out. I tried to clean up the original scan as much as I could, but I kinda like the sketchy quality of the drawings. This may be a whole new look for my work.
